Anushka Bhalla, MD, MPH

Dr. Anushka Bhalla is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to providing thoughtful, highly personalized primary care to her patients. Her approach to medicine is rooted in prevention, long-term health, and the belief that the best care begins with truly knowing her patients.
Dr. Bhalla has a particular interest in preventive medicine, chronic care management, and women’s health, with a focus on helping patients optimize their health not only when they are sick, but throughout every stage of life. She believes in taking a comprehensive view of health—understanding each patient’s goals, concerns, lifestyle, and individual risk factors—and working together to create a thoughtful, sustainable plan for the years ahead.
What Dr. Bhalla values most about practicing at Westside Internal Medicine is the opportunity to slow down and build meaningful relationships with her patients. Having the time to listen, ask the right questions, coordinate care, and follow patients over time allows her to truly partner with them on their health journey. She particularly enjoys the opportunity to walk alongside her patients through each season of life, helping them navigate changes, prevent disease, and work toward their best possible health outcomes.
A California native, Dr. Bhalla grew up in Fresno before moving to Los Angeles to attend her dream school, UCLA. She went on to earn a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Public Policy and completed her Family Medicine residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she had the honor of serving as Chief Resident.
Dr. Bhalla is also passionate about mentoring medical students and contributing to the education and development of the next generation of physicians.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bhalla enjoys staying active with her children, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time along the beautiful California coastline.
She is honored to continue the tradition of high-quality, patient-centered care at Westside Internal Medicine and looks forward to partnering with you and your family for the years ahead.
