Ernie Prudente, MD, FACP

INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN

Dr. Prudente graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He earned his medical degree in 1998 from Hahnemann Medical College where he graduated with honors and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.  He completed his internship and residency at UCLA and is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Prudente has been in private practice in Santa Monica since 2001. He taught medical students from 2003-2015 at the UCLA School of Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor.  He has served as the Chairman of Medicine and was on the Executive Committee at Providence Saint John's Health Center. In 2016, he was elected to the Providence Saint John's Health Center Board of Directors and Saint John's Foundation Board of Trustees and continues to serve on both.  He previously chaired the hospital's Medical Records and Continuing Medical Education committees and continues to actively serve on various committees.

He is passionate about providing thorough and highly responsive personalized care to his patients with a focus on preventative health.  He enjoys life in Pacific Palisades with his wife and two children and loves to exercise.
